- There is only the smell of the bean bag foam filler itself, just open the package and leave it in the air for a few days.
- The filler for bean bag chairs has a certain degree of viscoelasticity. It feels a little sticky when you squeeze the sponge with your hands, which is normal.
- Do not expose the pouf stuffing to the sun for a long time, which will cause the memory foam to turn yellow.

I love these it they were great for filling up bean bag chairs it's been almost 6 months and the bean bag chair is still sitting up right it was better than original bean bag stuffing that was in there the chair.

Wow. This stuff is great! Needed to add more filling to my son’s beanbag chair, and the chair is even more comfortable than before.Once you cut open the package, it slowly starts to expand so ensure that you’re working in a large surface area. It can get messy!

I bought this to refill a bean bag chair. When you first open it, there is smidge of a chemical smell..but as soon as you start to fluff and fill it dissipates. I used the extra to add to a pillow that had lots some fluff over time too. Would totally buy this again.

Update: Seller offered refund. I will let it be.I bought 2 bags to stuff my moroccan pouf. If the smell does not dissipate within a day or two, I cannot stuff my pouf with it. My pouf smells delicious like leather. I am airing the foam out. If I can't go in my living room tomorrow due to the odor, I have to trash it.

First off none of this is really surprising, but false and misleading advertising bothers me. Every single picture in the product description shows mostly uniform hexagonal prisms of foam but in reality there is nothing even slightly uniform about it. It’s just random scraps like any other bulk shredded foam you can buy from any other source. There’s absolutely nothing premium about it. Some of the foam pieces in my bag were actually hard. They also mention no chemical odor, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. This stuff stinks! Again none of this is surprising, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying. They also say it’s made from “healthy materialsâ€, but I can’t imagine that’s even possible. I’m no scientist but there is plenty of information available about the potential, albeit rare, health risks of memory foam. I didn’t buy this because I actually believe it’s a healthier alternative to every other polyurethane foam in existence, because that’s just ludicrous, but again it’s seems like it could be yet another misleading claim. Overall it served its purpose for my needs, but I’m not in any way impressed by it.Update: The seller has reached out to me because of my critical review. While my position doesn’t change, I felt it was appropriate to call attention to their outstanding customer service. It is sincerely appreciated.
