Well made and tough little brackets! 10MM is a pretty standard ball size for gas struts, if your socket appears to be about 5/16 or so then this is most likely the one! The four mount holes fit the rivets I had perfect and If I recall they were 3/16. I used these to mount a set of struts to my stock Tonneau cover on my Ford explorer sport trac and they worked perfect to push up about a 12lbs.

These are the strongest that we were able to find on the internet. We have used a few other makes but these seem to be the best and strongest. Currently holding up and better then the rest. As always amazon shipping was speedy.

I made a custom cabinet whose door needed two 45# gas struts to hold open. I used these brackets to affix the strut to the door frame. I appreciated how solid these brackets seemed. The strut snapped over the ball on this bracket with no difficulty. Operation is very smooth. I was able to precisely adjust the strut location with this bracket. The four screw holes let me secure the bracket to the frame in a very solid manner. Nice design.All in all, I got rapid delivery of a high quality product for a fair price.

These are a great product.If you are using gas struts for a lid of any kind, these are the ones that make the install really simple.

These are well made and sturdy. If you need a replacement stud bracket these will do the trick. Good price too.

i just installed them last night 2/28/15 on my home made tool cabinet and they worked perfectly one i got my angles right on the gas springs they worked perfect.

But the struts should have included them in a kit. Which is only reasonable, one is worthless without the other.

These are a great price compared to others on the net. These work as they should and seem to be as strong as most other brackets, but these are less cost and do the same as the other brackets with this style.
