Bought these for a death anniversary. Thought it would be nice to let it go and say a message. The whole thing caught on fire. It was very dangerous do not buy these!!!!!

If I could put a negative number I would. It says these don't burn and that isn't true. They barely go up and then come right back down. I would never buy these again. It was a big let down!!

This review is for the Weeveel10-pack White Paper Chinese Lanterns.We released these for a memorial for my best friend's sister, and it was a beautiful sight.These are easy to set up, the candles last for great height, and they are much larger than 8 was expecting, which made them visible for what looked like a couple miles.I feel that these are set at a great price for a 10-pack. I would definitely have paid twice as much for the size and quality. It was the price that made me think these were the small ones.Take note of the color when ordering. We got white so the could be seen better, but if your loved one has a favorite color, or there is a colored ribbon that matches the cause of death, you may want a colored lantern.I highly recommend these for any memorial that isn't in a wooded area and it isn't windy.It should be mentioned that these lanterns are truly biodegradable. Most have thin wire to create the frame, but these have a very thin wooden ring for the base, so that nature can claim it quickly.

These were great for my 10 year memorial of my brother passing. Every few years we light off lanterns and release them. They were pretty easy to set up even with it being 30° outside. They took a little while to fully inflate and then launch, but they traveled very far. Only got 2 stuck in my tree lol. Really good value.

Always wanted to try these chinese lanterns. Finally got a chance with just a fun get together with friends. Each lantern is crafted from biodegradable paper, which is a plus for the environmentally conscious. I was first introduced to Chinese Lanterns several years ago when I took part in a celebration of life for a dear friend who had passed. We were given paper lanterns, similar to these, and told that, if we wanted, we could write something on them before lighting the fuel and watching them float away. It was a beautiful sight to see them all disappear into the distance at sunset. These white lanterns are are suitable for writing or drawing. I understand that there is little to no chance of starting a fire with these but I personally would not feel comfortable using them in very dry conditions.
