How do I test if the faceshield is usable?
1：Cover the valve with the palm of your hand and slowly exhale outward to inflate the mask slightly. If air leaks between the face and the mask,reposition the mask and adjust the elasticity of the head strap to fit the mask
2：Once the mask is on,press the center of the filter cotton with your finger and gently inhale, the filter mask will collapse slightly towards your face.If air leaks between your face and the mask,reposition the mask and adjust the elasticity of the hair band for a better fit

I use these disk type cartridges on very often in my workshop. I'm quite familiar with these P100's and they are my favorite form factor.Although they are a step down from those that also house activated carbon, these do the job well enough keeping my respiratory irritation down.The only difference was that it allowed a bit more 'smells' through in comparison to a few other P100's I have used. However these are NOT designed to remove smells since most are far more smaller than the particulate size they are designed to filter.These worked great for me. They fit all the 3M half and full masks and seals up just fine. Breathing is very easy with this type of filter (a big reason why I'm very partial to them).I'm confident in using this with any VOCs and are way more than enough for dust particulate. No odors from first use and designed very well.Find these on sale and they won't disappoint.Unfortunately, I don't have any professional equipment to test the efficacy. However, being a normal user of a respirator, these have proved to keep my sinuses happy from known irritants (paints, finishes, acetone, and smoke).

I used these filters with a half face respirator mask and they work great. Easy to attach to the mask.I have been working with epoxy resin and alcohol ink, and with the mask and these filters, I cannot smell the fumes at all. Much safer.These filters come in a two pack, so I even have a backup pair.

I ordered the 2091 filter cotton for my home renovation and it fits my mask perfectly, it's no worse than a 3M filter. Wearing it avoids a lot of dust from getting into my lungs, a very affordable filter, enough of them so I can change them better. I'll be introducing it to some of my woodworking friends, they really need these!
