Tried using this on a very tight machine bolt and the Allen wrench starts to strip out around the edges on the tool. When using it as a commercial door bar tool it works great - no problems, nice size and easy thumb-finger grip. The shape and size is ideal and fits great on a commercial key ring with other keys.

These hex keys are well made with only one issue. 11 out of 12 of the ones I received weren’t smooth on all six sides of the tip. There was a noticeable “flare-out†on the tips that can be felt by dragging your finger over the edges like these weren’t properly cut/deburred. It’s an easy fix with a rotary tool to take off the tiny bit of the metal on the flawed side but it takes off a bit of the paint. I’ll just spray paint the tips when I have time and they’ll be perfect. I didn’t notice any flex in the metal when I tested these so they seem really strong and should work perfect for my needs.I bought these to keep in a some gun cases to adjust a few Magpul flip-up rifle sights when in the field or at the range. I wanted Allen keys that were easier to grip (with gloves and other such) than standard Allen keys. The looped end is easy to grip. The 1/8 inch size was exactly what I needed and now I have several extras in case I lose any. If the manufacturing was a little better I would give these 5-stars but since I had to correct the tips on 11 of these I have to remove a star.
