Yes, you can bend them for specific reach. For best results, use a coil that is CLOSE, but doesn't touch the material. These and the tool to use them have been an amazing purchase, gets things glowing red hot so much faster than a MAP torch. Stuck tie rods, stubborn loctite bolts and the like have not given me any issues since using it, and 9/10 times gurantees loosening parts. Can't believe I waited so long to buy it.

If you ever bee stock on a job because everything is seized to the frame!This is the tool that will make your life easier and at the end of the day you will not cry of frustration but happy you done the job.I love it.

We bought one of these last January. It worked great the first time and then never turned on again. Amazon would not do anything since this happened after the 3 month return cut off (It's not a tool that you use everyday). We purchased the ( Asurion insurance, I DO NOT recommend). Ausrion would do nothing even though this was supposed to be replacement insurance. They said that we had to contact Solary directly.. I called, emailed, wrote letters to Solary. Eventually I retuned the tool hoping maybe they could repair it. I have heard absolutely nothing. I DO not recommend this company at all. Robin Taliaferro
