It was pushed out when the tubing is very smooth like stainless steel. Using plastic tubing is OK.

The fitting fit with the tube but needed a lot of tape to make it air tight. Otherwise it kept leaking at the connection between the fitting and the piece before it.

I broke two of these just trying to tighten them up see attached photo I was shocked at how little pressure to break them. Ultimately what I did with the other two was hand. Tighten them as tight as I could get them just using my fingers, then turning on the the air And then tighten them up at beer minimum to get them to work One has a very slight leaking sound, but I do not want to tighten it for free or break the others.I did like how the hose fit in but that’s a little concerned now.

Connectors work like they should. Only exception is1 I still needed to add teflon tape even though they had pipe dope already on them.2 The plastic push to release collar does not stay in place as well as some that I have used.When all is said and done they do not leak and maintain a grip on the tubing.

These fittings have British parallel threads, not NPT. The thread pitch is different. A crude and unreliable joint can be made but it is ... crude and unreliable!The fitting may actually be OK, but when something is not as described I will give it no more than one star.
