My Beretta shotgun’s front post sight somehow popped off, and when I found it in the dirt, I noticed the threads had completely stripped off the post. To my surprise, the threads were still perfectly embedded in the post hole, as if they had sheared off. No amount of picking with a toothpick or metal pin could get them out. I decided to try this kit, and one of the taps fit the hole perfectly. After just a couple of turns, all the debris was cleared, and the threads were restored to like-new condition. I was then able to install a new Beretta factory front post, which fit snug and tight. This kit saved me months of downtime if I had to send the barrel back for warranty repair. 10/10—highly recommend!

I needed one size for a one time application and it worked just fine. They are made on the cheap side and I do not think they will hold after repeated use, but they are good value.
