I bought this metric screw due to the fact that I had ordered and was putting together a bench sent from China that was one screw short. No local hardware stores had a metric screw with this length. The screw I received thru Amazon worked well on my bench and I was able to complete the project. The screw was as described and came to me quickly.

It contains fifty (50) M6-1.0 x 30mm 304 stainless steel Allen Hex head bolts.First impressions: Overall, this is of good quality. The threads are clean of defects, and the socket Allen hex head has deep tool engagement (prevents stripping/rounding).Although these bolts are made of stainless steel, they are highly magnetic. This indicates non-austenitic stainless steel with a high ferric content, austenitic stainless steel with a low chromium and/or nickel content, or excessive cold forming processes were used in the shaping and forming of steel to form the bolts. True 304 grade is an austenitic stainless steel and as such is not supposed to be magnetic. Higher quality 304 stainless steel fasteners reduce the amount of cold-forming processes.Some things to consider: In some applications magnetic qualities in fasteners are not always desirable.
