I use this to check my fountain pen nibs and I love how it lights up to show more of the nib. I love this loupe magnifier and has a reticle scale.

What a great magnifier. This one was recommended and linked on my rimfire shooting forum so I bit the bullet (hehe) and ordered one. My primary use is for scoring USBR targets using a scoring plug. The magnifier cylinder is tall enough to fit a standard 22lr scoring plug. The clarity and lighting of this magnifier is incredibly crisp and bright making this the perfect tool for my uses. I'm also a bit of a mineral nerd so I've been using it to inspect some of my smaller fossils and gemstones as well. It was a little pricey but SO worth it. Really happy.

This is a great tool for scoring ARA targets. Easily fits over an ARA scoring plug; optics are clear; the LED lighting makes it very user friendly in shaded areas. Great value for the money. I deducted 1 point because the lever on the slide switch that controls the lights is very small. I expect that I will have to be very careful to avoid breaking it off. As one other reviewer noted, a momentary push button switch would be a better approach. Still, I would buy it again.

My twin brother who also has low vision highly recommended this. So, I bought one. It is durable and works great, and the light is bright! Light switch has a good snappiness to it. The measuring plate is removable. I use it without that. If you have low vison or something similar, like I do, you'll find this very helpful. This technology has improved. A+

I am visually impaired and have been using magnifiers my whole life. This magnifier is powerful enough to read most thing, and the led lights built in are very bright. There are several watch type batteries inside the black housing that power the lights, and thay are standard batteries that are easy to replace. Totally recommend this product.

What to expect from this magnifier that I can read PCB P/N in my own eyes and can't read it with this magnifier. No matter how hard I tried to adjust the focus still no success. Definitely will ship back and try another brand. Don't be fooled by high rating as I doubt they're legit.

I do not recommend this Loupe Magnifier for PCB board inspection. It is designed to use on a table inspecting objects directly underneath the lens. The multi glass magnifier has a shallow depth of field. The LEDs eat batteries pretty quick if you leave it on. Use the LEDs sparingly or have a couple of packs of batteries on stand by.

We needed this for calibrating our flatbed printer. The only thing I wished was if the lights could be dimmed a little. They are great for higher contrast but in the calibration we need to see white ink on white substrate and the LED's wash it out a bit making it hard to see...but that's just our special need.

This is the coolest little magnifier. Compact with nice case. Bought for daughter who is a biologist and takes students on field trip. Very impressed with the capacity to see fine details. Great price.

Lupa de ampliación variable, con muy buena iluminación, para cualquier uso. En mi caso, principalmente para revisar negativos y diapositivas, aunque puede utilizarse para muchas otras cosas. Con una construcción muy cuidada, lupa de cristal, un giro del ocular con una dureza significativa pero muy correcta para encontrar la ampliación necesaria y para que se mantenga ahÃ. El precio también es muy correcto teniendo en cuenta su calidad.
