We have an exterior panel door that got torn up from the sun and elements. There are lots of ridges and angles that were really tough to sand.My little electric mouse sander only worked on the flat parts. It couldn't get into all the creases or manage the contours. When I slipped it ate up part of the wood. These Angle & Contour Grips really helped me save the door. The wide variety of grip shapes and sizes allowed me to sand all the crevices. Very easy to hold. I was able to vary the sandpaper grit, wrapping it around the same grip pieces. For the price of the grips, my time was greatly reduced and the quality really improved. I'll use these again for any more future projects.FYI... I went with a UV protective paint and it came out looking great.

Very well build and great design. The hard plastic material will last for years and with all the different sizes you can get a firm grip at multiple angles. They saved me so much time. Not only did I finish my project but I started more because they are so functional. Had I bought these sooner I would have saved time and money. These are the most valuable wood tools I own.

they do work. not the greatest quality, but acceptable for the price. wipe them down with alcohol before you try to put PSA sandpaper on them or it wont stick due to the mold release compound residue still on them.

Perfect for those hard to reach spots with a sander. These were able to fit the contours of my project perfectly. Good quality.

We started sanding our traditional wooden doors/windows and quickly realized it was very hard to reach the small corners and edges of the door. I'm very glad we found this product but it certainly solved our problem. It's sturdy, easy to hold, and makes sanding these difficult areas a lot easier. The sandpaper does slide off from time to time but if you wrap it around the entire tool it's not a big issue at all.

Haven’t tried similar products so I have nothing to compare these to. They seem ok.My biggest issue is that they’re made of really smooth, hard plastic and there’s no way to secure the sandpaper to them. The sandpaper kept slipping and shifting while I worked.Maybe I just haven’t mastered the technique or maybe my hands aren’t strong enough. Can’t say for sure. So, yes they work, but there may be something easier to use out there.Either way, none of the concave curves on these matched the curved edges that need sanding on my project (these have perfectly round curves and the curves on the project are not perfectly circular, they’re more like a ski slope with a right-angled corner at the bottom). These were ok for the inside corners, but I found that simply folding the sandpaper was a little easier than wrestling with these and gave me a sharper line to get into those small angles. (A sanding block also works a little better.)(Context: Stripping and refinishing an oak built-in wardrobe; closets/cupboards and drawers. Chemical stripper (which was white) left the wood too orange, regardless of further applications/sanding, so sanding the old finish off has been my best option. The drawer/cabinet door fronts all have curved edges with right angles at the top and bottom of the curves, cut with a router. Getting the old stain out of the corners/inner edges without destroying the shape of the original cuts has been tricky/time consuming.)
