Build quality is great for the price. It was a perfect fit, so installing it was a simple swap out, the original tank had come apart and started leaking from the seams this fixed that problem, over all great product.

Bought this to replace a completely rusted out tank on a junkyard 4 wheeler I rebuilt for my kids. Im pretty certain this was the cheapest metal tank I could find to fit the older taotao quad, and you can absolutely tell it didnt cost much.It does what its supposed to do, which is hold fuel, and the mounting holes were all in the right places, and the tank seems sturdy, the metal is a thick enough gauge that it doesn't flex under moderate pressure.The bad so far consists entirely with the paintjob on the tank. I wasnt looking for anything amazing, but there are very thick runs in the paint all down one side, that are just glossy enough it looks like fuel is leaking down the side.The paint is also sprayed so thick around the threads for the fuel cap that it is very difficult to screw the cap on, not sure if this is an issue just with my tank or a quality control thing across the line. Its made worse i think by the cap being a kind of soft plastic. Due to the tight fit either the paint or the plastic is slowly getting torn off in little bits and pieces.Eventually it will either be a perfect fit, or so loose fuel will leak any time you hit a bump.With all that said, it does what its supposed to do, and the price is pretty fair for what you get.

I'm not sure what to expect from something so cheap, but this is rough. The metal on both sides was very wavy, but I was planning on repainting it anyway so I'll just have to use a little body filler to make it right.
