I use the normal black, corrugated looking pipes for outdoor water features, and then I found out that within 5 years they develop a variety of leaks. I couldn't find anything stronger at the hardware store in lengths greater than 10ft. I'm glad this exists, despite the ... INCREDIBLY HIGH PRICE. Seriously, I didn't think I'd be spending $100 just to move water this distance, but if it actually lasts a decade it'll be worth it vs. the standard options. If this doesn't work I'll have to go to rigid pipe, which is difficult enough to install that it the utility cost is several hundred $.Time will tell, I expect this to last 10 years, not in direct sunlight, ~10 gph flowing through.

This is a great value suction hose. It's very rugged and and dimensionally accurate. I used it with a Maceration pump from my RV and it has held up very well.

If you are not unrolling this in the summer, good luck. It is a very heavy duty suction hose, but I am struggling to overcome the memory of it being coiled. It is sized true, and the inner coil seems to be stainless steel. I just wish it was easier to relax the tubing so I could get it to lay flat.

I needed this size hose for a small dust collection project. That turned out well and the tubing proved to be extra sturdy under vacuum. That part was easy. Now, I have another hot rod project where I need to make a 36" section of fuel filler neck that goes into a fuel cell. It also happens to need this ID hose. Now in my case the fuel would never be under pressure in that hose, it's just a gravity chute into the tank. I'm going to test a section of hose by filling it with gasoline to see if the PVC degrades. I know there ARE some PVC types out there that claim to have gasoline resistance, but they are normally much more expensive. Some even made by FuelSafe that have the same looking stainless steel coil inside. Then there's also Tygon/Versilon, etc. I hear even the good ones can get cloudy over time, but I'm going to test in a harsher condition where some fuel sits in a bend for a few weeks. Here's hoping!I wish the manufacturer would disclose the actual PVC formula to make it easier to verify its claims.

Nice 1 1/4" hose. size is right on and worked great with 1 1/4" barbs to make connectionsThis isn't crush proof but its very sturdy and easily stands up the the suction side of a pumping setup. It seems equally suitable for the output side and is stiff but not difficult to handle. The clear does yellow some in sunlight but seems to continue to hold up - just slightly discolored.Very useful and a decent price
