  • 200pcs. Made of aluminum.
  • Fit for 1/16" (or a bit bigger) Diameter Wire Rope and Cable.
  • Lock both ends of the wire rope sleeves by pliers, vise, compression tools.
  • Economical solution for fixing and transporting general purpose cable.
  • Suitable for dog leashes, clothes lines or anything else that require strong cable.

Feature with double holes. Sleeve Cable Connectors make it easy to secure loops when anchoring cable and they can be compressed by vise or pliers. Sleeves, when properly applied, are capable of holding the rated breaking strength of the cable to which they are applied. However, to determine the exact holding strength, we recommend pull testing prior to use. This step ensures the proper selection of materials, the correct pressing procedure and an adequate margin of safety for the intended use.

Very nice crimp sleeps, provided with a clean surface with well defined details. The aluminum is easy to crimp yet provides a great deal of strength and dependability.Sleeves arrived quickly and were packaged well.

Bought for 1/16” coated wire and they are too small. Will work great for 1/16” bare wire.

Well, it took a while for me to get set up for making the safety cables that I need, but I finally have managed to build 34 of them using these sleeves so far. They are 14" long with a loop on each end, with the loops crimped using one of these. I have a photo/video studio with many 5 lb or less lights hanging from a support grid on the ceiling. Since there is only one attachment point and it must be loosened when adjusting the light positions, and loosening too much can cause the light to fall, I am building safety cables with a snap hook on one end, to be able to loop this cable around the support and a frame member of the light to prevent each light from possibly falling. For larger and heavier lights I use chain for this purpose, but chain has proven to be just too cumbersome to work with for these smaller theater lights. Hanging items absolutely must be secured from falling for the safety of those below, with at least two points of attachment.

Ever have a machine that 'works' but a part is broken that makes the whole thing useless? But instead of tossing it; you do a MacGyver- The weed-eater we have does not advance the line, so I cut a bunch of line to 7", put one of these sleeves on the end and Viola, it works - and surprising well! -

I bought 4, yes 4 ferrules from my local hardware store for the same price. I used them for a wire trellis on a brick wall and they seem strong and durable.
