I bought these to use on a 1" drive air impact with a 1/2" air hose. This is a good set to get you started. The fittings are good quality. They seem to be well made and have a durable finish.

These half inch quick connects are the solution to get a larger volume of air to the tools, along with larger ID hose of course. The fittings are well made, with a strong spring action to keep the connection engaged. The use of proper materials is evident when you first pick up the female end, and notice the weight. I used pipe dope on all threads, and have not had a leak from them or from the internal seal.If you need the heavier and higher flow connections, these are a great set to start with. They are well made and can be resealed when the internal flat washer eventually wears out. You will want to consider using a smaller diameter whip line at the tool to make tool handling and positioning much easier.This set of fittings do their job well, and cost a little less than average, making them a good value. I suggest purchasing a couple sets and making them a part of your compressed air system.

I out these on my compressor and the hose to replace some I had that were leaking. These are doing great so far. I don't need the extra flow for my small little jobs of airing up the kids 4-wheeler or dirt bike tires, but it would definetly have more flow than normal ones.

Nice set of fittings, male and female exactly as described. They make solid connections and look and feel good.

There were a total of 4 nozzles in my order. So far, these nozzles appear to be very well made from a good quality, heavy duty, metal material. They have thick cylindrical walls, and are very heavy to pick up, as compared to their size. The nozzles easily attach and detach from the compressor hose by means of twisting the nozzle into the hose recepticle, similiar in action to screwing a lid on a jar. The air chuck should snap in and out of place easily enough. All of this assuming, of course, that the pieces used are the correct size, etc.So far, they seem durable as well, and shouldn't be easy to damage. I also expect they are not likely to be vulnerable to rusting. At this time, I am happy with these nozzles. 5 out of 5 stars.

First off when I received these the box was crushed and most of the pieces were missing but the ones left did not fit any air hoses or anything I have so I didn't get to use them

Two of the five fittings wouldn't seal on the thread side. I'm not 100% certain, but I think they're British tapered pipe thread not NPT. Close enough that some will seal with enough pipe dope or Teflon tape, but not close enough to fit correctly.Both that wouldn't seal were female "NPT" Buyer beware.
