I got this to replace a plastic fountain that I hated. The plastic scratches & promotes bacteria growing no matter how clean you try to keep it. This stainless steel fountain is about the size of a 2 qt. dog bowl & stays clean for days at a time. I have 2 cats & used to rinse out the fountain every other day & change the filters weekly. With this fountain I check it about every 4th day & rinse it out & refresh water 2X a week & change the filters every 2 weeks. It is great & the pump is very quiet. I don't recommend keeping it in the bedroom unless you like the sound of running water but it is quiet especially for the size of the pump. I think you will be very happy with this fountain & the price is certainly right. It is also exceptionally easy to assemble.

My fountain does not need black sponges and I wish they offered only blue filters. Feeling bad for trowing out the sponges and unnecessary paying for them. Otherwise great product and service.

Order a water fountain for my cat. Love the fountain and the filter and sponge that goes with it. The filter and sponge is very easy to change and maintain in the fountain. It a wonderful way to ensure that my cat gets fresh clean water through out the day.

TenÃa una fuente para los gatos de plástico pero la tuve que cambiar porque le salÃan algas al agua a pesar de cambiarle los filtros cuando recomendaba el fabricante y tener cuidado con el agua que le echaba.Ahora tengo la de metal de esta marca y la verdad que no he tenido ningún problema, el filtro al ser tan grande parece que hace mejor su función. Mantiene el agua limpia y todos los pelitos y pelusas se quedan en el anillo y no pasan a la turbina.Muy contenta con el cambio, asà que lo recomiendo sin duda!
