I got this because it came with a container that would be convenient for my use. The container is great and the push pins are push pins. These are a good value for what I paid.

They are a bit smaller (the plastic push-part), but they work like they're supposed to! I like the variety of colors!

These push pins work, but they are smaller then push pins of the past. They can't handle what the older push pins could.

I don't know how it happens, but I swear anytime I buy clear tacks my spouse ends up stepping on em, these are perfect and easy to see with their bright colors if they do happen to get on the floor.
