Great valve, used for automated watering system. It holds a constant 60psi without leaking when off. It has opened and closed with my timer without fail for 4 months now.

Example of "you get what you pay for"..Pass on this unless you want to redo in a short time.

This is NOT 1/2" thread, making it very easy to cross-thread fittings. It must be a metric size near 1/2".

Works as described. You will need 11 v to trigger the selonoid. I needed this for a gravity feed application. It is more designed for constant pressure like in house plumbing.

Used this on a sensor tap system where the exsisting 12v solenoid had failed. Still working after being fitted months ago.

I wanted the valve to stop & start the flow in my aquarium in case of an overflow, It didn't seem to close tight the water still flows.

Rather than actively opening and closing the valve when powered, this relies on water pressure to open when powered and likely a spring of some kind to close it when unpowered. In my case this meant that it constrained flow when it was supposed to be open, and then failed to completely close, leaking significantly.Don't buy

Intended use was to empty a water tank but the extremely slow flow rate prevented this. With a pressure of a few PSI the rate was about one drop a minute. Not good for 12 inch connections provided with this unit.
