This is your standard in-line strainer that traps larger particulates from a water stream. It's well-made, with clean threads and a cap that tightens nicely while still being easily removable to clean out any collected gunk.The manufacturer thoughtfully included a spare filter and pipe tape to make sure the in & out connection is water-tight. When installing, do keep an eye on the connections to make sure the water flow is aligned to the direction of the filter!Good product, would buy again.

These nicely made filters are doing a great job fitting in with my watering system. I am using a PVC based system and needed some NPT style threaded parts and these work great.This is very easy to take apart and remove the filter when it needs to be cleaned. They include a second filter as well. I appreciate the ability to see when the filter needs to be changed versus just guessing or going by a calendar method. With this, if it starts to get dirty I can notice the change and act on that. I also really like the small size of this unit because it fits in better than larger filters.
