Rating subject to change when I have had a chance to use these for year. Some plants like at least a little sun, morning preferred. I will use these to provide a cooler downtime for certain succulents more likely to bloom with a bright cool winter rest.

This was a learning curve for us - while the directions were fairly straightforward, they did not want to stick to our mirror. There were many days the suction cup would let loose and our toothbrushes and toothpaste were on the counter. After many failed attempts, it finally stuck to our mirror and is now the shelf for all of our toothbrushes and toothpastes!The skies is the limit with this shelf set! You can put it on any smooth surface from mirror, window, even the side of your fridge for your spices!!

Update 2024-09-22:I received the replacement and once again the support brackets are missing even though there are suction cups in the box for them.I’m leaving my review at 2 stars because I don’t trust that these shelves can hold 12lbs without the load bearing brackets which are clearly shown in the instructions.Original Review:I received this and was so excited to put it together. I got to step 4 that said to install the support brackets but there were none in the box only the suction cups for it. I feel so disappointed. I sent it back and hope the replacement isn’t missing parts because otherwise this is a really neat plant shelf for my window.

I am always a bit skeptical about suction cups, but this has definitely exceeded my expectations. It has stayed stuck on the glass since I placed it there, and holds the weight well. Granted its not that much weight. But! It hasn't shifted even once. Would recommend for pots or small figurines, 10/10

These have been a great addition to my kitchen window. I recently started planting my own herbs in small pots and this window sill extender has been perfect for this endeavor. It can fit about 3-4 x-small pots
