First, I like the product. Checked it's accuracy using several guage blocks that I own (also ordered another one at the same time as this was ordered). The Calipers was accurate and held over several days worth of work. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is I bought this to be able to use the outer jaws in measuring. Well the dial only reads the inner jaw measurements. Can't figure out how to switch between reading inner/outer jaws. Had to use another caliper to measure the difference and will keep notes (again I use guage blocks in all calibrations). Also the instructions were very minimalist (with several misspellings to boot). So overall a good set of calipers. Have to do additional work to use it as I intended.
