I teach children across the nation online.For a small price this fun Spinning Wheel has added so much fun to my classes.It keeps my students engaged with real time action word or number games. The children watch with suspense and are eager to participate.The material used is of strong quality. The dry erase is awesome for writing and erasing multiple times.The wheel is easy to operate and the stand is sturdy. Putting everything together was very easy.I adjusted the screw a bit for an easier and longer spin. JstFrU Prize Spinning Wheel Win Game (12*inch)i thought i was going to hate this. first it had trouble making the journey even got messaged if i still want it. i said yeah sure. finally it arrived in an unimpressive little brown box then i took it out and realized hmm, there are metal components even a weighted base. this is more interesting now. it is not very large, but for my use case its going to be a decision maker. sometimes when in a creative tsunami it is difficult to decide where to focus energies. lots of ideas all at cross purposes. usually the goto is drop to the ground wrap your arms around your knees and start rocking. or alternatively, pick the smallest pile and just "start". anyway, now those complex life decisions are a thing of the past. now i have 10 things i can perseverate on simultaneously, when i finally decide it is time to stop rocking on the floor in fear and loathing, i can put those 10 tasks on the spinner wheel and let it decide what i will be doing today. the wedges are slightly curved which is not awesome i guess, but this is not for aesthetics. this is for business planning and life decisions and things of global import. ! HA. the clacker pins are plastic and the clacker is like rubber, i dont think they will break under normal oprating conditions, but over enthusiastic folks may damage it. my sample came with 2 extra pins. the directions are okay, but dont show exactly how they want you to orient the center pin apparatus. it has sheer bearing washers that help the spinner spin pretty effectively. but there is a hex bolt showing on the face so i put a smiley face sticker over the bolt. i think the circle board is pvc so lightweight fairly strong but dents easily. includes a marker that was fine for uncomplicated choices. end of the day, i am glad i got it. oh and the clacker makes a satisfaying bumpy thudding sound, its not loud but has that proper noser to indicate choices are being made that are out of your hands. i should note i made and donated a very large spinner wheel for my town 10 ish years ago, they use it at parades and festivals still. but it took me a while to design it in a cost effective yet durable manner that people could use over and over and over again. the thing i struggled with the most was the clacker. because that is the most important part. the satisfying sound of things being decided by fate. its an amazing sound. this little guy sure isnt like my industrial version but still makes a satisfying decisions being made by fate sound. maybe just a few decibels lower.

This spinner is a perfect size for use on a tabletop for a fair or festival, sales booth or game night. Heavy stand and easy to assemble. Even includes the tools for assembly. Like that you can erase the front and change it out easily. This looks like it should hold up well for years to come with occasional use.
