I bought this to use under a 1:24 scale dollhouse and it is perfect. It is a heavier duty turntable, not a cheap thin plastic one. It has a smooth easy turn with rubber grips to keep it from sliding around. This would be a great turntable under a larger tray for family style dining as well as for other hobbies.

I use this under my laptop on a small stand. I can easily move it a little for a better view depending on if I'm sitting up or reclining in the chair. It's also a breeze to spin to show something to my husband.
