This angle gauge works. It is much cheaper than a digital angle gauge and does take a little setup to use but it is accurate and performs perfectly when properly set up. As I rarely need such a device, I'm glad I didn't have to rig something DIY up (that may or may not have been accurate) or spend a ton of money to get a tool that does the job and does it quite well. I'm glad this inexpensive option exists. I'm very satisfied with the performance and price of the tool. It's not fancy but it works as it should and gets the job done.

Good quality and very easy to use. For a very small investment you will have an indispensable tool. Buy one you will use it over and over

It works, but it feels cheap. Make sure you're not tilting it when using it. Find a sturdy place to put the l shaped steel so that it doesn't move and so that you can have an accurate reading.

This piece of junk appears to work fine in your bare hands, with no load on it. But when you try to use it to torque a bolt, it slips and does not move the angle indicator correctly. You can seriously mess up your project if you don't notice the malfunction. It is a crappy design, relies on inconsistent friction from a rubber o-ring. The weak center joint allows it to tilt when under torque, causing the o-ring to slip. Don't waste your money. I saw similar advice on a review and bought it anyway. My mistake. Returning it.

Sort of works. couple times it wouldn't turn to indicate where you were at. working in an engine bay leaves very little clearance. Would probably be ok if you were working on an engine on a stand better. After using it I would probably just spend the extra money and get ARP bolts or studs just for my sanity.

If you're doing a head installation on an aluminum block LS engine you'll need an angle meter for the reinstall. Do NOT over torque your volts use this tool it's a pain in the a$$ but if you want it done right just buy a tool and do it
