I’m not sure what much I can say about it. It is as advertise I think. A galvanized steel shackle. I thought the listing showed carter pins at the two ends to secure the nuts, but this one does not have the pins nor does it have hole drilled in the bolts to allow carter pens. Regardless, I will be using it as a retainer for the for-stay on my little 17 foot sailboat. We’ll see how it does. I’ll review again if my mast comes tumbling down.

Hot-dipped galvanized. I use this jaw/jaw turnbuckle to tension the 3/16- or 1/4-inch cable on a grape trellis.

I like how long it is, plenty of room for occasional adjustment without having to shorten the cable because over time the gate starts sagging and requires adjustment
