We’ve used these vs the metal caps with the spongey inside. These are OG for us and reliable. The metal ones get all moldy inside and they’re very disappointing. I definitely recommend these caps if you’re frustrated with the metal ones

I bought these to put lids on some larger wine bottles that were given to me. I put my vinegar in them and reuse the plastic jugs to store water in. Not for drinking of course but in case of an emergency water shortage I could boil it and wash dishes or laundry

The clear plastic piece falls off once in awhile.Otherwise we enjoyed them. Sealed well. Durable. Quality good. No plastic smell.

These lids are thin but I knew that from the review before I bought them and the reviews are correct, they will crack easily but like I said, I knew that before I purchased. I'm bummed out because I have some cool older growlers and none of these lids fit. They are one gallon size growlers but they seem to have a different threading pattern when screwing on the lid. I'll keep looking.
