Just received the fume filter and tried it out. As the videos demonstrated, the air flow gathers solder flux fumes horizontally from 1+ feet away and the charcoal filter seems to gather everything. I’m happy with the solid construction also.

I got these for my 3d printer enclosure. Put it with a small fan but ya could still smell nasty ABS fumes. Not going to give this a bad review because i didn’t exactly use it for its intended purpose. Just thought people should know that if you want to use this with a 3d printer, it don’t work with plastic fumes… at least in my case.

I got these for replacement filters for my KOTTO fume extractor and they fit perfect! I wanted to make sure I had a good supply of these filters for the future and didn't want to worry about availability down the road. There isn't much else to say, they fit my extractor, they work great at filtering the solder fumes, and they're inexpensive. I highly recommend these!

These Activated Carbon solder air filters are thick and are a nice replacement. I wish I found these long ago, 12 for $19 is an insane deal. Many other filters are more expensive, but are the same as these. These are actually good filters and 12 will last me a very long time. These are about 12mm thick and each one comes sealed in it's own plastic bag to keep dust out and keep it fresh until you need it. I was really glad they came individually packaged as a zip bag doesn't work well with carbon filters. They are exactly as described and shown in the listing.
