I am using these for a different brand item, a trash can for cat litter scooping that uses activated carbon filters to keep the smells under control. These are working great for my needs.These filters are 50mm by 55mm and 6.25mm thick.

I don't actually have an automatic litter box because I don't have a large enough location for one. But the litter boxes are in a small powder room next to our front door so odor control is really important. Placing a couple of these activated charcoal filters next to the litter boxes really makes a difference in how stinky the small room gets. They'd also work great for managing stinky trash cans.

These are small. 2" x 2" and thin.They come in a nice plastic envelope that you can reseal. Each filter is individually wrapped to keep them from absorbing odor ahead of time.I would have liked it if they were a little thicker.

Just got a PuraMax2 automatic litter box, which came with a kind of intensely-perfumed scent puck in the poop hopper area - I like not smelling the poop but the strong smell kinda turns me off and I think the cats don't love it either. These charcoal scent filters are ideal - no scent, no perfume, just keeps the smell down! Fits right into the little well intended for the smell filters, easy to pop out and replace whenever needed. (How long they work depends on how much your cats are using your litter box, so I'm not going to try to predict that).

These are nice because they absorb odor rather than covering it up with an overwhelming scents. I’m using these in a petkit litterbox and the pouch just lays in the tray. Good choice if you like a more natural alternative to control odor
