Used one of the rods for mounting a plastic model on a diorama. It was easily cut with a hacksaw to the desired length. Worked perfectly! Great product!

Wil transfer light from end to end even if bent. Easy to bend or form using a heat gun or curling iron. What type of material are they made of? So I can get a good clear glue to join them together so as not to loose their lifght transfer properties

These acrylic tube's have worked great for my diy gaming console designs. They are very clear and do not splinter when cut. All of the tube's were consistent in size both in length and diameter.

I got these to indicate what state a light was on on our shops break room exhaust fan at a glance i.e. running or off, red or green. This was the perfect size to go through the plastic grill on top of the LED so you can see it from across the room near the switch.

I purchased these to replace the missing acrylic rods in a couple of my medium Dungeons and Dragons miniatures and they were the perfect size.I used a pair of pliers to cut one rod to the lengths I needed for each figure, superglued one end into the base and the other into the figure, and the finished product looked indistinguishable from the official rods sold with the figures.For reference, the shadow dragon and beholder in the review photo are using rods I cut from this product, and the green dragon is using the official rod it was sold with.

These worked great for a translucent prop that I needed to make for a cosplay. I was able to super glue one end to another without any sanding and it holds really well.

The actual diameter is not 0.25" , closer to 0.228". Otherwise good quality and esay to machine ... with caution.
