I hate watering houseplants. The water spills off if the soil is firm, which it often is, unless there’s a lot of space at the top of the pot, which rarely happens with plants purchased these days. I got a lovely set of houseplants recently, and this was the issue all over again, making a mess whenever I tried to water. Then I stumbled upon these cute leaves, thought they were cheesy decor, so I ignored them. But then other watering aids linked to these, and I realized what they were really for.It seemed like it was an inexpensive thing to try, easier than rigging my own little funnels or something, so I got a set. And I loved the way it shot the water right into the pot without carving out the soil, without spilling. I also loved the way the water went down the inside of the pot. That seems like a bad thing normally; the roots aren’t grabbing it. But these are little planting pots inside solid porcelain decorative planters—no drainage holes. These plants are better off with light bottom watering. It’s easier to accomplish this way than to remove the pots each time and water the bottom of the planter directly; I am careful not to add too much water, just check back later to see if it was enough.Very cool and not aesthetically annoying, either; I’d love if they were all the dark green foliage color, though. Then they’d really hide even better.Sometimes I do move them halfway through watering to the opposite side of the plant, but it really doesn’t matter when using a solid planter on the outside, as the water will distribute across the bottom anyway.

Hate having water splash everywhere when you water? You need these little leaves...in lovely shades of green. Just place one in a pot and aim the watering can spout toward the middle. Water trickles in the pot and you are done.

I wish I had known about these sooner. They allow you to water the plants without spilling so much water. Guides the water to the soil through all of the leaves. Great buy

Love this! I have many indoor plants with wide leaves that are often in the way when I water them. These little leaves direct the water to the soil, saving my floors and shelves from an unnecessary soak! Highly recommend!

I'm going to be 100% honest here. These can be purchased for much less on Temu. I'm tired of paying top dollar for China's plastic stuff. These are totally unnecessary but if you have to get them do it for much less cost. We really need to stop buying plastic when it's not needed. Educate yourselves on what is happening to all of this plastic stuff. It's shocking.

These blend into the foliage - no matter the shape of the actual leaves. If you pour the water on the plastic leaves, it goes right into the soil and doesn’t spill. I love them
