Due to the way the clip connects they would snag on fabric of the chicken run I just purchased, so I wasn't able to use them for their intended purpose, but I quickly changed directions and ended up using them to keep the new tarp, that hovers over the chicken run (I don't have chickens but my cat loves being outside and this keeps her from running away) to keep the sun off the pen. The clips are very strong and are well made and work well with the tarp. I would purchase them again.

These go well with Swiss Army knives (and you really owe it to yourself) because they'll just disappear unless you've got them clipped to a lanyard or belt-loop. Use 2 and your knife will sink into a pocket for double protection.
