This product works as expected and holds plastic strips that you PURCHASE SEPARATELY pretty well ( I missed that when I ordered). For the price, without the plastic, I thought it could have been a bit more heavy duty - the metal is a bit thin. I ended up hanging loaded vinyl for soundproofing, which is a lot heavier than a polyethylene or PVC. For a typical installation, I'm sure it's just fine.
