Works on 1/2" copper. I was a bit skeptical at first but thought I'd give it a try instead of sweating in a patch on a waterline. It's been in for a couple of months under constant household pressure and not a drop. I may end up keeping extras around just in case.

These seem to be the same as the SharkBite brand. So far I've used 3 and have not seen any leaks. Time will tell how they hold up. I am only using them in the outdoor kitchen for now, just incase they fail.

Once you open the big bag they are individually wrapped so don’t have to worry about trash in themThey appear to be made like a regular shark bite fitting

The insert in the center that goes in the Pex was hard to get pushed in I had to remove them then push them in so they would work.

Half of them were broken when they arrived. The plastic ring inside was cracked and they leaked. Needed one for a job and went through 6 before I found one not broken or that didn't leak. Spend your money on something with more quality.
