8-19-21I recently purchased what was advertised as a 12†speaker. But, when I removed my Boss 12†sub, and I tried to install my new 12†DS-18 speaker- I found that it is larger than 12†in diameter. It would not seat in the 12†opening in my enclosure. Because of the design of the enclosure- I couldn’t easily enlarge the opening. I had hoped that either one, or both of these spacers might close the 1/2†or so gap. I had received these spacers two days ago, and today, I’m pleased to say that they worked perfectly. No additional cutting on the spacer was necessary. Being that they are made of a slightly pliable material- I found that I could hand press them onto my DS-18, and it sat flush on the spacer. I think they’re made of some type of resin, but the manufacturer’s add claims they’re fiberglass.As for the workmanship complaints- it was a non-issue in my application.For those with those concerns- the imperfections are tiny.(See images: there’s 8 on each spacer & they’re about the thickness of a toothpick)I believe that the imperfections can be filed, and sanded without too much trouble.Mission accomplished.

Horrid shipping... who mails WOODEN spacers in a bubble envelope? Very poor workmanship. Cuts were not cleaned leaving a tab sticking out both on the outside and inside, in 2 locations each, making it look cheap and completely demolished the value off these spacers to me. What is the point of using something that will make your system worth over a thousand dollars look like junk. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, STAY AWAY!!!! I would not recommend the product OR the seller because no merchant of good quality items would allow such a defect to pass. This product is not usable and absolutely not worth the price tag.

I like material not sure how sturdy they are. I wish they would put a little more effort into there product and clean up the edges from being so Sharp and tabs cleaned off. it's not a very expensive product but none the less there are items for the same amount but have more effort put into them for a product that looks and feels finished and not so cheap-looking
