I confirmed the accuracy of this 1.5 tablespoon measure with a medication syringe. It is made of stainless steel. Nothing flimsy about it. I use it to measure honey for my tea. The long handle lets me stir with it too. I am glad I bought it.

I bought this for a dedicated purpose: scooping up a sleepy powder I use every night. It felt like an extravagant indulgence and maybe so but I am enjoying having the perfect implement. The weight, size and balance are just what I wanted.

I bought two of these, and use them every day for measuring foods such as mustard, mayonnaise, salsa, butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter to keep strictly within my daily calorie count.I like the way they scoop out the ingredients and how easy a kitchen knife blade removes the food from the small scoop.They also clean easily with a small piece of paper towel on my finger and the force of the water from the kitchen faucet.They are perfect.
