If you find altering framing distasteful and dull, if you're pretty sure those studs are 2 of the 7 left holding the roof up and the other 5 aren't on this wall, if you like both privacy and fresh air, you want a burgler-proof size, or you don't want to pull a permit but the neighbor might rat you out, this easily fits between the studs. It's just a super simple install, super lightweight. Even a shed or chicken coop built old-timey penny-pincher style 24" or 32" on center over here and 27" or 36" over there would have zero trouble supporting this, not even framed in and just screwed directly to decomposing siding.I could screw this into a hole in a piece of rusty corrugated steel roofing and lean it against a wall and it would be fine forever. Well, at least until the steel melted away into the dirt. But it wouldn't be the weight of this window that caused it.Anyhow...This is perfect to get some sunlight in to the back of my shop building, and get some cross-ventilation.It's too small for a person to fit through, which is good, but I do need an emergency exit on that side of the building, so I'm installing it as part of a panel that I can unlatch from inside and kick out in case of fire.Seeing the electrical panel (that I think was installed by a stoned person, since this building was a big fortified drying room) between me and the door all the time made me want a way out the other direction. The interior walls are 3/4" plywood with steel behind it, so even with the tools in here, there's no quick way to cut an exit on short notice. It's really nice being able to open this window and get a cross-breeze. I didn't realize how stuffy the air was back here until I cut the hole out from inside and the difference rushed in.Anyhow, the window opens and closes fine, it comes with screws, which I promptly lost, so I used stainless hex head self tappers I already had here, instead, and now I should probably go get some J channel if I care enough to do that with this window and the other 2 that were already in here that aren't finished around them, either. We're selling this place soon and moving. If I have time after the house is done, I'll get to it.Good window, simple install.

I got this to replace a window on my shed and the price could not be beat. It was packaged well and was well protected. It installs like any window of this type and i found the open/closing very fluid.

The Jonriox shed window impressed me from the minute I opened it up. It's constructed well and looks professional. It's sturdy, the glass panes are secure as well as the screen. The body of this is aluminum with a white coating over the top. My mind is at ease with the tempered glass. I was surprised to see that the screen is stainless steel. I had just assumed it would be some sort of synthetic material.I mounted this in a wood shed/workshop to help with ventilation and natural light. It went in quickly. The most time-consuming item was cutting the hole. I measured and drew it out on the inside of the shed because I wanted to make sure that mounted this window between the 2x4'sframe. I drilled a hole big enough to get my reciprocal saw into the start and then just cut it the rest of the way out.To finish the installation It's just a matter of putting the window in the hole from the outside of the building and tightening it down with about 10 screws. Bam, done and looks great.

This was packaged well. It looks and feels really well made. It moves smoothly. It is sturdy and easy to get setup. It looks really nice and it functions perfect. Value seems good on this one currently. Overall I am really happy with how this has worked and was just what we needed for the coop.

I am so impressed with the quality of materials and construction on this window. I had ordered it to install on my chicken coop - adding light and ventilation. This window is great quality. It is solid construction with thick, well-coated metal frames and thick glass. The sliding window moves smoothly. Note that the window doesn’t stay open at any point, only at set “lock” points (full open, full closed, halfway open). To open and move the window, you have to push in and hold sliding brackets on each side until you reach the desired (set) points and the bracket pins click into place. The screen is metal mesh, good thickness - but not sure how or if it can be removed? (In case it needs to be repaired) The installation instructions do not mention. Overall, a great quality window.

This window has every features I could want in a window and I want to use it for replacing the window that was at the back of my garage. The only thing stopping me is that this window doesn't have a lock. I can't use it for a garage window with no lock. So I have to figure that out. Otherwise, this is a great window. The quality is pretty much on par with my house windows, except it doesn't have the double pane filled with insulation gas. Highly recommended.

This is a budget friendly, well made window. It slides open smoothly and locks closed tightly. The locking mechanism is easy to use.I cannot see any light leaks around the seals. The frame is well machined and finished. The color coating is smooth with no imperfections that I can find. The single pane glass is thick and pristine, except for the inconspicuous brand symbol which is etched into a corner of the pane.I have no regrets in ordering this window. I’m using it in a garden shed build and it is perfect for that.
