These work great in the ProClick binding system but I do find that I can only punch one at a time, which is fine with me as it's such a fast process anyhow. The plastic has good transparency but is not glossy or what I would consider crystal clear. It's slightly matte and just a tiny bit frosted in appearance. It does not really affect the color saturation or contrast of the print it's on top of though so it basically disappears against whatever you cover with it. The material is flexible and does not ding or scratch easily and the corners aren't particularly sharp. I really like these covers and am using them on all of the homeschool curricula I'm prepping for my rising 2nd grader. I think they'll hold up just fine to a full school year worth of use and beyond.

I would definitely not describe these as clear. When it's pressed against something you can see what it is like the bottom part of the picture, but when it's pulled away, you can see through it, like at the top. At best I would describe it as frosted. Clear to me implies that you should be able to hold it up & see through it & that's not the case.

I was easily able to punch these in my binding machine. They are clear when compared to a more translucent cover but do still have a small bit of cloudiness to them.

Sometimes the clarity on these covers is hit or miss. This one is a hit. Good clarity. I also like the thickness. Very protective, some rigidity, but flexible enough to not be obtrusive when using (not like a hardcover book, can still bend easily). On my machine, I only punch one cover at a time, two is stretching my machine’s capabilities.Thumbs up on the price/quality ratio.
