Give them a four star because they was a little short would be a lot better if they were longer

These Round-Headed Aluminum Core Rivets are just what I needed for my smaller, light-duty projects. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are on the smaller side, but they work great and are consistently made. The three-piece aluminum design expands outward when you hammer the center pin, securely holding everything in place. Installation was straightforward, and they held up well, especially when used in multiples. If you need reliable rivets that are easy to install and perfect for lighter tasks, these are an excellent choice.Some of the center "pins" that you hammer to expand these fell out during transport and will, I'm sure continue to fall out in the case in my toolbox but they are easy enough to push back in but it's something that I have found in other hammer driven rivets so I am not deducting a star.

My fault, I didn't understand the size

These hammer down rivets are small, so expect them to work for smaller projects. Think things like replacing the center rivet in a smaller pair of scissors, then you'll get a little bit of the idea. They are excellent though and I used these with my niece to tack down the side of her keyboard piano that had a busted plastic clip which caused the back part of it to slightly lift up. Using this little hammer down rivet was an easy way to bind the top and bottom cover and it easily nails into place without too much force. With so many included in the kit, it's a great value and a nice hardware component to have for small fixes.

Nothing mysterious here. It is exactly what it says it is.If you have never used this type of rivet before be advised that you need to smack it with a hammer to get it to work. If using it on thin stock be sure to have enough "meat" underneath the bottom piece to keep from denting the metal. I have used a block of wood or a piece of bar stock with a hole in it to support thin sheet metal. This also helps to give you the "pulling it together" that you get when using pop rivets.

These are decent little aluminum tap rivets, useful when you need them. They seem to work as expected.
