About this item

  • Grade 5 and 9mm Thickness: Our strut nuts are made of higher strength steel: grade 5. The thickness is 9mm, which is stronger than traditional 6mm nuts and can withstand greater tensile forces.
  • Thickened Galvanized Layer: The thicker galvanized layer, even after many years, our c channel nuts with springs will still be as bright as ever after being wiped clean, and can be reused completely.
  • Precise Thread: The threads of each of our strut channel nuts conform to the American 1/2"-13 UNC standard and are self-aligning with alternating teeth, As the pressure increases, no side slip occurs at all.
  • Perfect for Strut Channel: Our strut channel nuts used to mount and connect structural loads such as pipes, electrical equipments, air conditioning, data wire, junction boxes, ventilation and other mechanical systems.
  • Perfect for Unistrut Channel Struts: Our strut channel nuts used to mount and connect structural loads such as pipes, electrical equipments, air conditioning, data wire, junction boxes, ventilation and other mechanical systems.

Grade 5 Strut Channel Nuts - 120 Pcs

Perfect for Unistrut and other Strut Channel

The thickness of the common strut channel nuts on the market is generally 6 mm, when you need to install tighter, or greater tension, the 6 mm is not enough.

This 9mm grade 5 strut channel nuts launched by us can withstand greater tension and with greater margin.

The shape of the alternating teeth are improved, and the function of self-aligning is further improved.

  • 120 Pcs, 9mm and Grade 5 - higher strength
  • Thickened Galvanized Layer - better antirust
  • Precise Thread - 1/2''-13 UNC
  • Perfect for Unistrut Channel Struts

TH

I love building various things around the house/garage with unistrut / other strut channel. These are pretty standard galvanized 1/2" nuts so if that is what you're looking for you're in luck. Nothing bad to say. Not much to differentiate this from other products so get whatever is the right size and right price for you.

I also purchased a smaller size. This review is basically the same as the other. With the exception of these being for 1/2" as opposed to 3/8". Other than that, everything between them is the same.In most cases with projects I do you have got to have the spring type nuts for unistrut. These work excellent. I'm not thrilled with how they were packed (tossed loosly in a shipping box), but other than being tangled, they are functional. The springs seem a touch longer than others I've used, but this only makes the fit more secure, so I dont consider it a flaw.

These nuts are quite thick and fit properly into the Uni-strut bars. I use them on my solar installs and they work fantastic. Will be ordering more!

Nicely made, with particularly good plating and sharp teeth in the grooves. Nicely-packed, too. The box looks plain, but is padded with bubble and layered.I like building with strut, such as with the sewing stand in the photo. My overhead garage shelves are also strut.Plain nuts like these are faster and easier than spring nuts or cone nuts, IMO ... most of the time, and as long as you're using perforated strut (which lets you manipulate the nut easier). If you use strut, you know the cost is in the fittings and fasteners. These are a good value at the price and much less than buying the little bags at the big box store.

These lock in and hold tight like the original manufacturer version. I am an average consumer and not commercial so a bulk pack like this is a lifetime supply yet its substantially cheaper than buying the small 5- pack bags at the big box store. The threads are cut perfectly. The springs are heavier gauge than OEM so it is a little tougher with the slim style Unistrut.

These were purchased to install solar panels, and my husband says these are well made and will work well for the installation.
