A couple of times over the last 15 years I owned my electric golf cart I've needed to pull out one or more batteries for some reason. I would borrow a battery lift strap from my local golf cart shop, and then have to take it back when done. I tryed making them at home with some success but it was a pain and they didn't last. While searching for parts for my cart I came across a battery lift strap and found it to be pretty cheap considering how much easier it makes moving around a heavy 8 volt battery. Bought one, and it is well made and works perfectly.

I hooked this in to slots on my VMAX 35AH 12V AGM battery, and then filled the voids with hot-melt to attach it permanently. It works well, and unlike the straps which come with some batteries, it is a soft material, not hard plastic, making it much more comfortable to carry with.

Pretty simple concept and duty, so not much to add. It does what it is supposed to do, and lifts large, deep-cycle golf cart batteries without stretch.

This is a good solid strap. I lifted my 80 lb deep cycle battery along with several other 60 lb deep cycle batteries down into my basement with no problems. They attached onto the battery with no slipping. Recommend.

Some reviews mistakenly think the clips go around the terminals. They do not. They clip on the narrow handles on the side of the case, held firmly by upward pressure while lifting the battery.

Had to modify it just to fit a truck K10 battery, strap was too short by about 2 inches, just saying .

Price is very good. Make sure to test lift the battery with the type of motion that is required to move your battery. As I received it, it would carry a battery fine if you were careful. If the weight got off a little one hook would try to fall off. I modified mine by placing in shop vice and bending angle to better hold the battery under different carry situations. This prevented very heavy and expensive batteries from falling. I will test each time as I will most likely not use this very often. Note: more and more companies are no longer putting carry straps on batteries so you eventually may need to buy one. Just be careful each time you use it.
