I was looking for something that would temporarily cover up my raunchy laptop stickers so my dad wouldn't lecture me when he's around. The quality is great! If you end up picking a cool design, you can even use that to decorate the exterior instead of using stickers. It comes with a larger sheet and a couple for the mousepad area. Removal is super easy and doesn't leave any residue behind. It didn't even scratch my laptop stickers underneath, which is saying something because their quality isn't the greatest. Highly recommend it!

I have an old laptop. It is about 10 years old and given to me a long time ago. I gave it to my granddaughter and she put stickers on it and the top was all scratched up. I like to keep old thing nice and decided to buy this skin kit. Getting the old stickers off with alcohol worked, but was difficult. The skin was easy to cut to size with the grid on the back. I positioned it top to bottom first and saw where to cut. Then, I did the same thing side to side. It's rather like putting on a screen protector on a phone. You must watch out for bubbles, but it can be repositioned. I didn't press down till satisfied and smoothed out the bubbles. There are two pieces for doing the inside of the laptop. After I removed a peeling HP siticker, I decided it look ok without it. But you get a skin for the top and two for either side of the track pad. It looks lovely and I am very happy with the laptop. It will make a nice spare and no longer look unsightly.

I would probably give this a 4.5 if that was possible. The only real "downside" is that the color isn't true to the description. I ordered the dark grey, but it's really more of a dark purplish-blue. I happen to really like the color, but if you're wanting a neutral grey, this isn't for you. Other than that, the sticker has a good weight to it, feels like it will easily stand up to any scratches, and was easy to apply without getting any any air bubbles stuck. Cutting it to shape was a little tricky and I can't say I did a perfect job, but I'll be putting other stickers over top of this protective one, so I didn't really take the time to cut precisely. I think if you actually cared to cut it better, it wouldn't be hard at all. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and don't have any complaints. 😊

The physical decal/adhesive is both good quality and easy to remove and replace. It’s easy enough to trim to size with a ruler, pen, and scissors but my laptop has hinges that were a bit trickier to cut out. Just be careful measuring and smooth with a credit card to apply. It has a pebbly texture because of channels to help air escape so you don’t get bubbles. Can be removed and put back on, which makes it a good substrate for my laptop stickers and easy to take my laptop back to a “professional†appearance. However, the reason for only three stars is that the image is poor quality. Very low-res, both pixelated and fuzzy, and the pics make it look like a gold-colored foil border on the geometric black and grey one’s pictures but it’s not! It’s not even shiny. It’s a matte image with yellow - not even a nice fake gold color but literally just primary yellow with white parts to fake the shine in the pictures, which is pretty shady (because it fools no one in real life). I kept it because I am mostly covering it up with stickers, but just be aware the image is NOT good quality and there are no shiny or metallic finishes. It’s a functionally good but not very pretty decal.

Just as advertised, it was so easy and simple to apply. Even though it were slightly crinkled in the packaging, once it was applied it completely disappeared.

This product says that it fits a wide range of laptop sizes which is true but there are no designated cutting marks for different sizes. When I opened the packaged to not only find it bent but also lacking instructions. I still pushed forward thinking that maybe I could do this, I was wrong there should be a guide to cut along for sizing for all different sized laptops that was not the case. Still, I tried to cut and measured carefully but it still came out looking terrible on the corners. Not a good product I should have just returned the product and got my money back instead of trying to make something work that never had a chance. Mabey if your crafty you could be ok with this but otherwise stay far far away do not waste your money.

I like that it compliments my pink keyboard protector i purchase, but I'm not that crafty and you have to cut it to size your laptop. Maybe if I had the correct tools it would be a cleaner cut..LOL I would purchase again though and try again.

I got the "green" (Ad-nek-38) which turned out to be more of a blue/turquoise, in the pics it's more of a minty green and a lot brighter than it really is. Decided to keep it in the end because it actually matches my comforter perfectly, if you're very specific about the colour though just be warned there might be some variation.The image quality could be better but it's not terrible, no obvious pixelation, the gradient isn't as smooth as it could be but you have to look closely to notice so I'm not bothered. Overall it looks nice, it has a leather like texture which gives it a bit of a luxury feel, and it adheres great even after being pulled up a few times to get it placed right. I used the flat side of a remote to smooth it out as I applied it (a credit card would work too), just do it slowly and push out any bubbles right away as when I first placed it I did it more quickly and had to pull it up to get the bubbles out. I ended up spending at least an hour or two on it to get it perfect, I'd recommend measuring carefully and marking where you're going to cut. An exacto knife also helps for any rounded edges.Didn't use the two patches for beside the touchpad which would just look like two random stickers in my opinion lol and not sleek like I want, but I'm considering ordering another skin and cutting it to seamlessly fit all the way around the touchpad and keyboard.Decent quality overall, relatively easy to work with and looks good, my laptop is older and a bit banged up but now it looks awesome.
