Works great when you do not have a half inch chuck drill. Use it only when safe to use such as drilling a bit larger holes in wood after pre-drilling the largest holes using 3/8inch drill and then going to bigger holes in wood step by step.Use caution and can seriously hurt yourself or the drill by using large bits in a smaller drill.

It is as described and allows use of standard bits. The chuck key does not line up well with the chuck. Small bits don't hold well. For the money, it works buy is limited.

I purchased this so that I could use my drill with a long paint mixer for a five gallon bucket of paint. This kit is perfect and comes with several adapter sizes. I recommend this product.

this is the worst chuck I have ever used in my 67 years as a welder. I was using it on a small makita battery drill, and it will not stay tight. I had a hand tightened chuck on this drill and it would not tighten either. I thought if I could tighten it with a key I could use it. Not the case. The chuck is very rough feeling when trying to tighten it. There is no smoothness in it at all. I was drilling a 7/32 hole and it would not tighten enough to last for more than 15 to 20 seconds before the bit starting slipping. never had this problem before. I guess I will just go back to the old electric drill with the old jacobs chuck, and junk the rest.

It is a solid chuck adapter. I bought an inexpensive model and it broke after a couple time. This chuck adapter feels like the adapter on my 1/2 " drill.I haven't used it yet. I will update my progress. (Hope fully I remember....)
