5/16-24 Hex Jam NutsI've tried several of the fasteners that IMSCREWS supplies and this the first time that I've had an out of spec product.There seemed to be a surprising amount of slop in the fit and after checking out the minor diameter it was way outside of what I would consider reasonable @0.2725â€. It should be closer to 0.267â€.They're otherwise well finished.If you're looking for something non-critical these would work but definitely not for critical assemblies.

Very impressed with the quality of these stainless steel nuts.There are no sharp edges on any corner or side. All surfaces are smooth without flaws. I checked the 1/4-28 thread count and they are accurate. No problems at all.It is not easy - at least in my area - to find this size of nut in stainless steel. I much prefer stainless because of its resistance to rust. Which I really hate to see show up anywhere. For repair of any outdoor power equipment (or manual, for that matter) these are what you want to use. And maybe a stainless steel lock washer... I would simply not bother with any outdoor repair without using stainless steel fasteners.Impressive quality, excellent price!
