Way of Working:
- 1. Circuit break protection: When the current reaches the cut-off value, the long handle automatically bounces and cuts off the power supply. Generally, it trips in a short circuit. After the fault is eliminated, press the long handle back to the original position to form a path.

I bought two of these for installing a power inverter in my car. One I installed after the car battery and the other I installed before the inverter. They do what they're supposed to do, cut off power in the event of an overload and turn off power via request by pressing of the red switch. Good product, easy installation.

These save your bacon in a car stereo setup. Some would say fuses are better but I DIY my setups and it's nice to know if I accidentally trip something I'm not replacing fuses.

As others have noted, the mounting tabs break off very easily. I mounted this to a metal surface and one tab broke almost immediately. Cheap, brittle plastic.But far worse than that is the fact that this thing was defective right out of the box. I bought the 300 A rated version to protect my inverter. After it was all hooked up, my inverter wouldn't run. I wasted a lot of time checking connections, until I tested with a voltmeter. 13.6 volts going into the breaker and 0-4 volts coming out (I took repeated readings, and it kept changing.) I attempted several times to cycle it, reset it, etc., all to no avail. No sir, you won't be using your inverter today.I took this junk out and sent it back, and I purchased a fuse to protect my inverter. Save yourself the trouble and just get a fuse. Definitely don't rely on this for anything mission critical.

Good quality. Appreciate being able to directly connect a 2/0 cable to it or smaller if you wish. Has a good appearance when mounted properly. Have not yet been able to test the tripping amperage.
