We are a homeschool family and I ordered these during school time. My kids love making different patterns out of them and using them with the sheets from the Melissa and Doug magnetic version. These are great for educational settings in which you want to spark creativity while teaching shapes and colors.

these translucent pattern blocks are a hit with my daughter (2.5 year old). the colors are bright and vibrant - good for a light table but also on any surface. the size is standard and mixes well with another set we have from melissa and doug. love this for teaching my toddler different shapes and creative play - my kid has been making all sorts of designs. great price as well. 100% would recommend.

This will teach me to shop on Amazon at 5 AM because I can't sleep. I thought these were magnetic and got them for my 6 year old who builds out of everything. He lost interest as soon as he could not stick them together to make something. My bad. The tiles themselves are nice quality: sturdy, smooth edges, and attractive. I disliked that the box they came is not suitable to be reused for storage, as you literally have to put everything back in exactly the way it came packaged to make it fit. It took me a couple minutes to just get 8 or 10 of them back in! (I personally think all toys with parts and pieces should be packaged in a reusable covered container. But that's me.) The tiles are labeled Pre-K, but they are small enough to be a choking hazard if you have a kiddo that puts things in their mouth. That is why I haven't tried them on my older autistic child yet; I will need to supervise, as she still occasionally mouths things. I do not have a light box, and I think I will get one to try these again with both kids. My boy likes blending paint colors, so that aspect may get his attention. My girl just likes color, so the light box seems like a good idea in general.

I ordered my kids a light table for Christmas. I ordered these as well so they would have some extra toys to go with them. These are great for that! We build pictures of animals, places, people, etc. We have a blast! It allows my children to get creative and think outside the box. Definitely recommend!

Piece size is a little small. Nice to have lots of them. Bright colors. Lightweight. Good open ended fun for kids

I've used other products like this for my preschool class and decided to finally order some at home for my twins. They really enjoyed making all different shapes and pictures. The different colors are nice. Very bright. The different shapes give this a fun and different experience every time. Keeps their imaginations and minds going. The only downside is the container they came in. Unless put away perfectly it won't snap flat. But buying a new container for them or using a zip lock bag is not too bad.
