Straight out of the package it moves with a lot of friction, but don't be concerned. Once a bit of weight is applied on it the plates press together and the resistance goes away.Pros:High load capacity.Good price.Low resistance.Cons:Not quiet.

Cheap, low quality junk. Poor construction, spins with excessive force. Would not recommend buying this for any purpose.

Yeah these aren't great. I had to oil them just to get them to turn a little smoother and they are so noisy I though i'd dropped a screw in between it! I mounted 1, but the second went in the garbage.
