Not a bad product but quality control could be better. 1st outer threading bar had the screw hole off just enough to not allow the carbide insert to align and fasten. 2nd was good. For the price not a bad purchase.

Inserts are cheaply made. Couldn't even take a . 002 depth of cut on 1018. Broke 3 inserts trying to thread one piece of 1" 1018 barstock. Ended up using an HSS M2 bit I hand ground to finish threads. Even with a less than perfect edge, it cut better and longer than these inserts. You definitely get what you pay for with carbides. Tool holder is decent enough. May end up keeping it and replacing inserts with Sandviks or similar.

I needed the bigger cutter to obviously cut bigger threads.. these will do up to 8 TPI where the smaller ones will only do 16 TPI. It did a nice job.
