Mxmoonfree MMF-12LB & 65LB force gauges:The backlit display is bright when viewed straight on (unlike other digital scales I bought & returned before buying the MMF). The “Live†mode is quite stable & not too jittery to read.Gauge should be zeroed in the same orientation you plan to use it in. The "shield" option for very small readings can be disabled by changing the system default setting. There’s a minor listing error (the correct mounting hole spacing is 41mm, but farther down in “Product Descriptionâ€, an image has 40mm). Instructions are inadequate.I bought the 12LB gauge first- it came with the wrong instructions; I emailed Mxmoonfree (at address on card included) & within 4 hours I got a reply with an attached PDF of the right 9-page MMF manual. After reading it, I had some questions; again, they replied very quickly to clarify – unusual for sellers.I’d planned to order the 65LB gauge also - BUT - when I followed the instructions to change the 12LB’s system settings, the very first one I tried (auto shutdown time) did not work & messed up the backlight setting & the force zeroing function when measuring. Luckily, I was able to reset to factory default & the gauge measured & zeroed OK again. I alerted Mxmoonfree with the details & they said they’d tell me when they fixed the glitchy system setting change function, so I could order the 65LB.I decided to keep the 12LB gauge, as factory defaults work OK for me (hobby use). As a good-will gesture, they sent the clamp accessory HJJ-001 for free mentioned in the gauge’s Amazon listing’s video but not available for sale.In under 2 weeks, I got an email: glitch was fixed & I could order the 65LB gauge directly from them to assure that I got the corrected product; the email contained a screenshot with an arrow to show how to do this. I ordered & it arrived in a few days, plus another free clamp. The system setting change function works OK on the 65LB.Despite the initial issues, I’m giving these products a 5-star rating: the corrected product is great & so is the customer service.

The gauge is easy to use and very accurate. I’m impressed with it as not only does it work well but it comes with a lot of different accessories. Even though I bought it for a single purpose I can use it for a variety of other purposes too. Excellent value for the money!

It's OK device, it seems to be working OK with couple of significant shortcomings:1. The PEAK mode only record the first peak - this is big problem if you are performing measurements with hand and do not have a rig - even the slightest pull will read a value and device will immediately stop measuring. The PEAK mode should show PEAK value for any number of pulls/pushes. The way device work the PEAK mode is really ONE MEASUREMENT mode. After that you have to push ZERO button to get another reading, which brings me to second issue2. the buttons are very cheap membrane type. While I am no concerned about durability, there is almost no tactile feedback, buttons are hard to push and feel mushy. Why not use proper push buttons? Even their more expensive modes feature the same membrane keys.3. manual is typically bad, printed in TINY TINY letters, with bad grammar and not very clear explanations of different functions. In today's age if you want to compete against all your clone competitors, get somebody to write your manual with proper English and print it size that is readable without magnifying glass.

VERY necessary if you are doing gunsmithing and need to adjust your trigger pull. Very sensitive and accurate.

I really like how this measures pull and push pressure. So you can hang something from the hook adapter or you can press it up against something and still get an accurate measurement. I also like how the zero point doesn't drift, which is something I might expect from a tool that's too cheap. It's fast and responsive. It even comes with a convenient storage/carrying case that holds the parts in place fairly well. The only complaint I have is that the battery cover doesn't stay on securely. I accidentally opened it just by brushing my hand against it. Not ideal, but also not a deal breaker.

Versatile but too complicated of a menu system. Peak measurements occur too quickly; i.e, start a measurement and pause for the slightest amount of time (e.g., to re-grip) and it records a measurement.Returned this and went with Wheeler digital, which is much easier to use and comes with calibration certificate
