Although I don't know yet if this will deter birds, it's very shiny and blows nicely in the wind so it seems like it will work perfectly. The design is super cute! It not only not has an effective purpose to it, but it's very decorative and cute. I will update this once all my plants are outside to report on the effectiveness. Even if it's not effective, the cuteness of it makes it a keeper!
