This is a great product for protecting plants from being eaten while they are small. I had a very small paw paw tree that was completely eaten. I put this over it, the leaves grew back. The cages let in sunlight and rain, or allow manual watering. The anchors are very sturdy and hold the cage in place well.I will have to replace this with a taller cage in a few years, but it is great for now.

lightweight, ample clips to secure to ground. Good for about a 8" max plant.

These cloches work. I wish I had ordered more! We have been having problems with nuisance animals. A hungry groundhog ate everything they could in my vegetable garden, thankfully every plant that was covered with a cloche was protected. I do think they are a little pricey for what you get, but they work as expected.

These cloches are made of a vinyl-coated metal wire, so they're rust-proof and made to last. The mesh is small enough to protect your plants from any manner of hungry beasts, except maybe a deer that would just laugh and kick it out of the way. The mesh lets the rain in and the air through while also offering a slight shade for your tender spring seedlings.I'm finding a number of off-season uses for them since the plants are now big enough to withstand a little critter nibbling. The cloches made it much easier to snake a soaker hose through my garden now that the plants are established and it's heating up outside. We're due for a massive heat wave and top watering won't do. I just slipped them over the tops of the plants and tucked their leaves up inside. It kept them all contained so that I could see where to step and where to thread the hose. This saved much sadness in the way of broken leaves and aggravation in trying to wrangle hose while not smashing my beautiful plants. Mission accomplished, and within a fraction of the time! One more use for them: flip them upside-down and use them for a light-weight storage bins for your seeds, grow sponges, gloves or other supplies, or even eggs and garden produce. Everything looks so tidy when stored in matching containers. I even found one useful while weeding and toted back a few weedlings to destroy. These are lightweight, pliable metal mesh. I did manage to step on one and crush it, but it was pliable enough that I could bend it back into shape. All-in-all, these are handy little mesh buckets/plant protectors. I may need more. I could find so many reasons to get more.

These are very well made. Protects smaller young plants from being eaten, damaged or destroyed. Gives them a chance to become established. We have a 1/3 acre fenced in garden with over head sprinklers. Our gardens have always grown pretty fast. I will use these for items like ðŸ…, peppers, squash, cucumbers and other items that I start from seed or get as small plants. Once the plants get to be just a few weeks old they will quickly outgrow the plant covers. But in the meantime it makes the plants easy to cover with garden sheeting in case of frost or bad weather and gives them a chance to take hold. As these are “nesting†covers they take up minimal storage space and are completely reusable. The tags and staples for the plant covers are a nice touch!
